It
is our biggest fundraiser of the year,
2008 Read-A-Thon!
The kids, parents, and
teachers are excited about the reading marathon. Reading begins
April 4th and continues through April 24th.
What
is a Read-A-Thon?
A Read-A-Thon is similar
in concept to a Walk-A-Thon, but instead of exercising their bodies,
our students will be exercising their brains. It is a fundraiser for
our school that requires sponsored pledges from friends and family
for the number of pages that the students read during a specific
time period.
Why
have a Read-A-Thon?
A Read-A-Thon is our way
of supporting the school's budget by raising 100% profit without
requiring the students to sell something. This fundraiser will
benefit your family as well as it is a part of CCA's 25% tuition
credit program. For example, if your children receive sponsorships
totaling $1,000, your family will receive a voucher worth $250.00 which can be directly applied to next year's
tuition. Please note: Credit cannot be transferred between families and is
only valid for the 2008-09 year. |
