On Friday, October 5th, CCA held their annual Grandparent and
Friends luncheon. From the moment you drove into the crowded parking
lot, you could feel the excitement. Today was a big day!
Mrs. Raney's K-4
class opened the luncheon with the
Pledge of the
Allegiance
Then music instructor,
Mrs. White, led the K-6th graders in a gorgeous rendition of "In
Christ Alone".
Pictured below are some
of the folks who joined us for the luncheon. The students love it
when grandparents and friends get to come and visit the school. This
time was no exception!
Mr. Maxwell, School
Administrator, gave door prizes to the Grandparent who:
... was the oldest
...drove the furthest
to get here
and who had the most
grandchildren currently attending CCA.
Have you ever seen so
many salad bowls in one place?
And then there were--
our volunteers...
We could not have
pulled off such a wonderful meal for our "grandparents and friends"
without you!
Only a handful of
volunteers have
been pictured here. It took many to make this a success. Thanks to each and
every one of you!
